TO CHANGE THE WORLD

Knowing Jesus

The way that anyone come to know Jesus is by seeking him. The Bible says that if we seek God, we will find him.

You can come to know Jesus by reading the Bible.
You can come to know Jesus by being with his people (the Church).
You can come to know Jesus through prayer.

Coming to know Jesus is a spiritual transformation.

He came to that which was his own, but His own did not receive Him.  Yet to all who received Him, to those who believed in His name, He gave the right to become children of God--  children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband's will, but born of God.
John 1:11-13 (New International Version)

In reply Jesus declared, "I tell you the truth, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again."
John 3:3 (New International Version)

This righteousness from God comes through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no difference,  for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,  and are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.
Romans 3:22-24 (New International Version)

For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Romans 6:23 (New International Version)

But what does it say? "The word is near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart," that is, the word of faith we are proclaiming:  That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.  For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.  As the Scripture says, "Anyone who trusts in him will never be put to shame."
Romans 10:8-11 (New International Version)
